Trouble logging in - DigID

We're sorry that you’re having problems logging in to HealthApp.
Below are some common situations with solutions.

-----

I don’t have DigiD

DigiD is a digital login.
With DigiD, we can link your account to your medical file at your GP’s practice.
You need a Dutch Citizen Service Number (BSN) to apply for DigiD. This is not possible if you are not from the Netherlands and do not have a Dutch BSN.
Without DigiD, we cannot link you.
In that case, you cannot use HealthApp.
We cannot resolve this for you. Please contact your GP to discuss your situation.
You can find more information about DigiD at: https://www.digid.nl/

I’m not able to log in with DigiD

DigiD has different ways to log in.
You can find these methods here: https://www.digid.nl/en/login-methods

Is it still not working?
Then it may be that DigiD is experiencing an outage.

I can’t log in because DigiD has an outage

Sometimes DigiD has an outage.
Then you cannot log in to HealthApp.
We cannot solve this.
For more information, check the DigiD outage page (in Dutch): https://www.logius.nl/storing-en-onderhoud

Why can't I log in using an SMS code?

Our application contains personal and sensitive data (such as medical information).
The government requires us to secure this data with extra strictness.
Unfortunately, logging in with an SMS code is no longer secure enough.
Therefore, the government no longer permits logging in with an SMS code at (new) healthcare institutions and medical applications.
The DigiD app is much more secure. Therefore, you can only log in to our application using the DigiD app or by using your passport or proof of identity (ID).
